Nights in Rodanthe

I watched this movie on Saturday night. Seriously, one of the worst movies I have ever watched. Save your 5 bucks and rent something else. My gag reflex got quite the workout. Super cheesy. I should have known. Being that the movie was adapted from a Nicholas Sparks book (which are hit and miss). I love Richard Gene. He is a handsome older man. But this was just too much. My biggest regret....making my poor husband suffer through this dreadful movie with me. He stuck it out. To quote En Vogue: "Whatta man, whatta man, whatta mighty good man!"

You quoted En Vogue. This may have made my afternoon. You actually watched Nights in Rodanthe, which makes me question your sanity or at least hope you were slightly intoxicated. You told me not to laugh, but I can't help it. Poor Zach. Poor, poor Zach. The fact that it has Diane Lane in it should have been reason enough to stay away. She was only good as Cherry in the Outsiders.

Okay. I strongly disagree. I enjoyed this movie...probably because i wasn't crazy enough to watch it with a man. I find that I enjoy a cheesy romantic movie much more when i don't feel shamed by my husband for watching it. but of course, you are entitled to think it's horrible. :0)

No shame. It really was just bad. A little over the top, gooey romantic for me.

This movie is coming to me soon from Netflix. I already know better than to ask Clint to watch it with me. I'm pretty cheesy, so I'll probably like it =)
