Now this is a classy swimsuit. I am so drawn to this particular look. So chic and grown up. I am not crazy about this color but it looks fantastic on this model with the dark red lipstick. I found this on a blog I frequent and had to repost. I doubt I will look anywhere near this stylish in Cabo (which is in exactly 28 days!!!) but here's to hoping, right?

After thought:
Does everyone watch American Idol but me? Sheesh! Even my parents watch it. I feel so left out. I just cannot handle that show. Not judging, because I watch some bad TV, but you cannot have a conversation with anyone these days and not hear the name Adam Lambeth come up. Seriously disappointing.

Every gal should wear big jewelry

Felix and Jane is making these great rings. I love them. This particular one stood out to me. Red and turquoise is one of my favorite color combinations. Those two colors are just meant to be together. This ring reminds me of a headband that my good friend Layni made for me.

I heart new products!

Like most women, I have been on the prowl for the perfect self tanner ever since I can remember. One that is odorless or at least doesn't stink 5 minutes after you apply. I have pretty much tried every kind out there. Lotions, sprays, foams, wipes.....if it's new to the market, it's going in my shopping cart. It's depressing how much damage I have done to my skin over the years. So, now I try and achieve that bronzed look without getting in the sun. Let me tell you, it's a very tedious process. This is supposed to bring subtle, non-streaky results. I will let you know how it turns out. I am sure I will come to work tomorrow with orange knees and elbows!

I have lust in my heart. Christian Louboutin Petal Sandal.....you are beautiful. I would endure the pain of these 4" heels just to say I owned a pair of shoes with the signature red sole.

The "after" pictures

Our kitchen remodel is nearing the finish line. I wish I had some before photos that would do the transformation justice. We are thrilled with the outcome. My father is amazing. I feel so lucky to have a dad that is willing to give up some much of his precious "retirement" to drive to the city and makes our kitchen pretty. Thank you, Dad.

Carrie's dress

I fell in love with this dress after I saw the movie and finally located it. Ya know, the one that Carrie Bradshaw wears in Sex and the City (the movie). It's a challenge to find certain items from the movie that I think just might be affordable. Sidenote: I heard last night that the Vivienne Westwood wedding gown sold online for $9,000. Anyway, the designers are two 20-something New Yorkers, who obviously have an eye for style. They call this the "Flag Dress". No longer available.....from the Spring 2006 collection.
