More is more

I like this assortment of brick-a-brak (as my Aunt refers to it) on these shelves. The black and white accessories mixed with hints of color and texture are totally right up my alley. On a side note: I've learned that I am a "stuff" person. I like stuff. It is comforting. I have never been able to resist knick-knacks, trinkets or anything shiny. I would stuff our little home full of these sorts of things if my "less is more" husband would allow it.

New tunes for my listening pleasure

I've been somewhat bored with all my current music. Craving something new to get me through this crazy work week, I decided to download two new albums I have been hearing on XM Radio quite a lot lately.

I already love this album. Simply put, it's happy music.

Solo album for the lead singer of Sigur Ros.
He is one weird guy but I really like the music he makes.

Here we come, Italy!

Got a pair of Chaco's for our upcoming Italy trip. I'm not 21 anymore. Ie: I require comfort. We are going to be doing A LOT of walking. Tennis shoes (more specifically socks) just do not sound desirable in the summer months. Thus, began the search for an alternative. These are surprisingly very comfortable. Do not fear, I will not turn into one for those make-up free, granola girls. These feet will again don stilettos as soon as we return to the states.
